Established in 2018, our mission is simple: to produce the very best handcrafted cannabis-infused edibles and topicals in the state of Alaska. We are committed to providing consumers with a delicious and safe experience. Whether you're a first-timer (or for the first time in a long time) or a regular consumer of cannabis, we have something that will fit your needs. We offer a variety of edibles and pain relieving topicals. Each of our products provide a unique experience, so ask for Baked Alaska at your favorite licensed retail marijuana store and look for the sun & moon symbols on our packaging to guide you.
Audrey Ranstead: FOUNDER
Audrey is the founding partner of Baked Alaska LLC. An experienced baker with a self described entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to combine her love for food with cannabis by starting Baked Alaska when recreational marijuana became legal in the 49th state. She was born and raised in Fairbanks and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from UAF. For the past 14 years, she's owned the very popular Bagels & Brew, also located in Fairbanks. When she's not working, she enjoys all things Alaska: hiking, fishing, berry picking and playing hockey!
Chanta Spain: HEAD BAKER
Chanta, pronounced SH'an'TAY (you stay) is a recent graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences. She's putting her degree to good use here at Baked Alaska. Her batches of infused edibles are consistent, effective and most importantly delicious! She's the mother of two beautiful golden retrievers, Thunder and Stella. In her spare time, she's working on her private pilots license. Chanta and her fiancé Max are avid outdoors people and spend a majority of their summer weekends camping and winter weekends skiing.
